Workshop 2022
The World We Live In project of 2022 was a heartwarming full-day event created together with Maria, Celia, Belen, and Stephanie, and guided by Melisa, Rosie, and Setareh, who joined a wonderful group of asylum-seeker women and children at Amanpuri boat in Groningen.
“A light from the shadows shall spring”
We meditated, sang, painted, made instruments, recited poetry, and improvised together, and at the end of the day the children surprised us with their well-choreographed and passionate dance performances. We all left the boat with the beautiful music of La Flute Enchantee de Ravel echoing in our ears with the touching voice of Eline and the great performances of Maria on Flute and Belen on Cello.
